Very impressed. I’ve wanted one of these figures for years and I’m glad I bit the bullet. Easy to put together, very sturdy, and holds a pose well. The extra fingers it came with are appreciated as they pop off fairly easy, but there’s no avoiding that at the size of the hands. You should be fine as long as you’re careful though.
I look forward to building my collection and getting some hand packs.

Just as described. Fun to play with and pose. You have to assemble the figure and it’s a little more difficult to get it in the right position at first but it’s exactly as described and will last a long time with good care.
Much better than the old wooden models I am familiar with from art school.

My only complaint is I think you might want to change the material of the magnetic base; it was already pretty dinged up when it arrived, and any touch causes smudgy fingerprint marks.

This model is so fun to play with and use. The ONLY criticisms I have is the price is a bit much but if you go during a deal it’s more reasonable, and the hands and feet are a bit big. But other than those this is the perfect artist manikin the market. The range of movement is unmatched by anything else I’ve seen

STICKYBONES are awesome and well worth the money. I now have three stickybones which I use for stop motion animation.
This time I ordered the Dark Frost with the Day Frost fly rig. I originally ordered them separately but I then realised I could get them as a bundle at a discount, so I contacted team stickybones who where really helpful and made the change for me really quickly and refunded the difference as well as making sure I got the correct version.
The bundle was dispatched really quickly and got across the UK really fast (within 5 days).
For animation I can’t recommend STICKYBONES enough they an amazing to work with!

It's the best poseable doll I've ever had! My only complaint is that the feet are VERY hard to put together. So much that I was worried I might break it trying to get the ball joints in. Do understand why as it must support the weight of the sculpture but it still was incredibly difficult.

The figure has a great build quality with sturdy molded parts, some of parts can have a little parting line that sticks out and could make assembly more difficult but a little careful sanding on those edges and the limbs fit perfectly together.
The magnetic hands and feet paired with the strong body makes these figures able to be posed in all sorts of ways, have the figure balance on one hand? Have another figure balanced on top of the other? No trouble, just be creative and if the magnets cant do the trick then the fly-rig solves all your troubles.
I do wish that the magnetic plate would have more rounded edges and perhaps some material covering the bottomt to protect the surface it stands on as both my plates arrived quite sharp and easily scraped up my table if moved..
Either way i am happy with my purchase, a fine tool for artists and a fun fidget toy or a display figure.

This has been tons of fun to pose! It's really helping me understand pose constraints, and how the body conveys weight and movement in dynamic actions. It holds poses impressively well and feels like a quality model for the price. Extremely good at setting exaggerated motions and poses.
For best results I try to capture some emotion in the action the model is taking. I plan on trying to do a set of storyboards with this model, and incorporate it in some warmup regimen!
Just taking pictures of it has been a great time :)

The shipping was very quick and packaging was very secure. It was easy to build and very fun to pose. Some of the joints are too tight, but they hold well. Don't want to add lithium grease and mess up the joints. But overall, it's really great.

The product is very posable. The joints start off a little stiff, but after a couple times posing, it is much easier. I like the articulated fingers, it adds a certain touch to the poses. I just have to be careful. They do come off easily, as they are so tiny. But I wouldn’t want to go without them! I love they are magnetic, and I can put them on my front door or refrigerator to make so many different poses. They seem to be very secure with just the two magnets touching the fridge. I love how the pieces are interchangeable and you can make different color combinations (if you have two figures in different colors). The flyrig is very sturdy, but easy to move, and will stay in place. I highly recommend this product! Well worth the investment!!

This figure is hands down the best, everything i was looking for and more. I looked at many different figures before purchasing and this is truly something special designed with care. The possibilities are limitless honestly and it lets my imagination open up when im brainstorming . The only thing i have to say is if possible it would be nice to have the knit lines where the pieces are fused to be smoothed out a bit. It doesnt bother me but i think doing so would just make it look that much better. I think it would be cool to have 3 or 4 new ones with different skin tones since i know some people like to dress up their stickybones and whatnot, a vibrant purple color would be nice to im sure :)

Sadly, after FedEx delivered my new stickybones to the shed by my front door and took a photo to prove it, some lowlife stole my new mannequin, my spare magnets to get my original dark blue mannequin walking again and 2 boxes to store spare hands in, so I am unable to give you a sensible reveiw.

The figure itself is pretty good, but the metal stand plate is super edgy. I pay extra careful attention to avoid cut while moving it.

The figure is extremely flexible, and basically well designed, better than any action figure I’ve tried. No complaints on the figure. However, the packaging of the joints can be more clear by giving an instruction on which joins belongs to what packs inside the box. For example, I saw in IKEA assembly instruction, they layout the packages of parts, or a specific part into labels “A, B, C,..” it will help people to find the joints more quickly. I myself know a bit of anatomy so I can do it. But for other people it may be a bit confusing. Other than that the whole experience is enjoyable and nice.

I bought this to use as drawing reference for dynamic poses. Though rather than drawing, I've found myself idly playing around and posing it for fun while I'm at my desk. The range of movement is great and it feels pretty sturdy so far. I guess I'll see what it's like over time when it's broken in more. Currently, I'm satisfied with the purchase and glad I found this figure!

It perfect! I can do any pose without worrying about some pieces fallout so easily and it can bent a knee all the way back! It strong to stay still of any pieces, (of course the fingers sometimes fell when trying to change pose but it still the best) with the magnet feet it can balance with one leg without felling off!

I just received my order of Stickybones, hands and fly-rig to the UK today, in super fast time, and received an added bonus of a travel tin for the hands!!!
I put Stickybones together, using the video, and I'm so impressed with the quality of material and the extensive movement and articulation that I've just ordered another one! I also have S.H.Figuart and 1000 Toy figures, they are both great but do not have the range of articulation or the strength of material and construction of the Stickybones.
I will now take stickybones to my art class to demonstrate how useful it is and how reasonably priced, so there will probably be many more orders from Wales UK. Very best wishes, John.
