I love it it’s the perfect tool for modelling figures

I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. Overall, love it and very cool and I’ve been playing with the poses, which are super easy to work with. Assembly was simple, watching the video was very helpful. I might get the extra hands because three fingers and a thumb don’t quite do it although I understand the space limitations. My only other gripe, if I had to pick one, would be the head and neck are a little looser than the rest of the ball joints. I’m hoping that it doesn’t break down overtime and get floppy.

I bought this as an aid to figure drawing, and found it almost good enough for that application, but ultimately disappointing. For emotional impact, figure drawing relies disproportionately on the head and hands. Both are problematic with Stickybones. With the hands, the main problem is that the figure is simply too small. It's not just that it's awkward to pose, though it can be; The entire figure is roughly the size of my hand, which can make that troublesome. The greater problem is that in order to make the hands and feet contain their magnets (and, presumably, to make the hands big enough to maneuver the fingers at all), they made them much too big for the figure. And that's with the hands having only three fingers and a thumb on each. (Having only three fingers is also a bit of a fail from a figure drawing perspective.) But more generally, having certain body parts disproportionately makes it harder to draw properly. For the head, the problem is that it is just so loose - on the first day out of the box - that it simply cannot be posed in certain positions (e.g. looking down with the head tilted to the side). You set the position, let it go, and it drops right out of the pose. Overall, for a plastic figure that costs over $80 on sale (with the stand), it's disappointing, especially since it seems like the weaknesses could mostly be remedied by starting with hands of the minimal workable size and making the figure proportional.

I've been a fan of stickybones since they were a burgeoning crowdsource project. Everything about the product experience, the amazing creators that brought their vision to life and the continued innovation from their team is absolutely amazing. I very much look forward to future bones! I'm a "collect every version" supporter and I'm very, very proud to admit it! :)

I am pleased with my sticky bones. I got a white sticky bones figure, flying rig, and the hands bundle. Assembly does give your fingers a work out. I had a very hard time snapping the feet together but got it done. My only complaint is the hands bundle is a different color from the figure (the hands only come in a gray color apparently).

I very much struggle with foreshortened poses and things like that. I can tell the Stickybones will be a big help. Here's my very first attempt at using it on a really tough perspective.

There is much to like with the Stickybones, but also much to improve on. As an artist, I would prefer to see the hands and feet closer to human scale. An overall larger figure - twice as tall - would be better for my needs, and would make it possible for the hands and feet to be to made to proper scale and would also make the whole thing more robust.

Gave as a gift to my sister for a Christmas and she loves thrm.

Returning to 2D animation in the new year, and I can't think of a better way to reignite the flow than using my hands on something in actual physical space!! SB is just as intuitively posable as everyone says. If you're thinking about getting one for whatever reason, don't overthink it -- you won't be disappointed!

This is such a beautiful figure. My son and I had a blast putting our sticky bones together. The feet were particularly challenging though. The assembly video was really helpful.

This was my third stickybones, and I will be getting more. They help a great deal in composing scenes.

I was so excited to get this (and a little nervous because I've had some trouble finding a good one) but it totally exceeded my expectations! The magnets in the hands and feet make it possible to do really cool poses. If anything pops out, it easily pops right back in and isn't any looser or anything. I am extremely pleased with this! I sat down to draw and ended up just posing the figure for like half an hour because it works so well and it's fun! I will absolutely be purchasing another in the future! Thanks Stickybones! Just amazing, my 8yr old lives out for his drawing practices and we even play games with it - posing the stickybones creating a famous footballers goal celebration for the other to guess. Also makes a great desk to to fidget with. We love it

I want to be a storyboard artist and this is the most useful reference I have ever seen for coming up with things on my own. My girlfriend wants one and I want another one!! I'm happy to receive my new Stickybones Figure! Based on the packaging I thought it would arrive set up or pre-built, but upon opening up the package it took up the same footprint as older, smaller packaging. That was surprising, but I set up the figure as if waking up, and I'm so intrigued by its cleanliness compared to the dark aesthetic of my desk/workspace, aha! I'm excited to work on future projects with this little guy, and also include my White Frost Sky Figure to help out with partner poses!

Like all my other Stickybone armatures, this one arrived very quickly, and like my other armatures, this one is extremely poseable and quite addictive for my fidgeting hands when contemplating my next project. Whether you are drawing, animating, or just fidgeting, this is a must-have.

"Tight tight tight, Mr. White!" The blizzard white shows up quite well in photos, especially the hands which is a big reason I got this color. On mine, the joints are almost all tighter than the previous colors though in a good way. I've had mine figure for about a week and I've enjoyed every minute posing it. Looking forward to more monochrome Stickybones!
